Terms, legal notice and privacy

Purpose. Sporia is a mushroom-foraging aid: it combines weather, forestry, soil and species-occurrence data to estimate, on a purely indicative basis, the areas and times favourable to fruiting.

Access & subscription. Full access requires a paid annual subscription, taken out and managed through our payment provider (Stripe). The current price is displayed before payment. The subscription renews annually; you may cancel it at any time from “My subscription” (access remains open until the end of the paid period).

Right of withdrawal. As the digital service is supplied immediately, you expressly request its performance from the moment you subscribe and waive your 14-day right of withdrawal (art. L221-28 3° of the French Consumer Code), consent being obtained by a tick box at payment.

Safety — essential warning. The estimates are in no way a guarantee that mushrooms are present or an identification of a species. Never eat a mushroom without formal identification by a competent person (pharmacist, mycological society) — some species are deadly. Respect foraging regulations, private property and protected areas. The publisher accepts no liability in the event of poisoning, accident or offence.

Liability. The service is provided “as is”, with no guarantee of availability or accuracy. These terms may change; the version in force is the one presented here.

Data sources. IGN (BD Forêt®, RGE ALTI®), Météo-France, SoilGrids® (ISRIC), GBIF. The associated trademarks and rights remain the property of their respective owners.

Purposes & legal basis: provision of the service and billing — performance of the subscription contract. Processors: Stripe (payment), Brevo (transactional emails), Oracle Cloud (hosting). No data is passed on or sold to third parties for commercial purposes.

Retention: for the duration of the contractual relationship, then deletion. Your rights: access, rectification, erasure, portability, objection — which you may exercise by contacting us at [TO BE COMPLETED: email] or, for erasure, directly via “Delete my account” in the application.

Cookies: only a session cookie strictly necessary for authentication is used (no advertising trackers).
